Laurelin is a simple girl spinning wool to sell at market. When her mother boasts Laurelin is so talented she can spin straw into gold the Queen puts her in the dungeon until she can prove it. Despite despair, a mysterious stranger comes to make Laurelin's dreams come true... if she can pay the price.
This new adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale features choreography by Kerri Lambert and new music written by Henry Cheng and Mahlon Berv. Performed by Evansville area dancers and the Ballet Indiana Symphony Orchestra. |
